The different types of prior searches

We offer 3 types of searches, from the simplest to the most in-depth.

Each of our packages includes an identical search.

Our Essential package also includes an extended identical search.

Our Security package is the only one to integrate a search for similarities.

Identical search

This search ensures that there are no obstacles that are strictly identical to your project. Be careful, most conflicts arise from trademarks that are only similar, not strictly identical.

Extended identical search

It allows us to find certain similar trademarks (e.g. with a different suffix/prefix), and to search for more relevant prior rights than a simple identical search. It is not, however, a true similarity search, which is much more comprehensive.

Similarity search

This search allows us to know the entire legal environment of your trademark by studying all the trademarks that present a visual and/or phonetic similarity with your project. It is the search that gives the most legal security to your application.
